Watercolors on paper, various sizes, about 18 x 22 inches to sight or larger, three signed in image; moderate wear and minor foxing. Not examined out of matching modern frames. - Np, late 19th century?

Included are Chardon's Leap * Sudatory [steam hut] * Looking at the Sun * Cemetery of the Mandan * Medicine Lodge * Green Corn Dance * Sham Fight. Provenance: Said to have been acquired from dealers Rockwell & Avis Gardiner of Stamford, CT in the 1980s; San Francisco dealers Carlson & Stevenson to the consignor.
